A quick delicious recipe for Asparagus

Aspargus Stir Fry Recipe

Asparagus is so delicious and so healthy. It's very low in calories - about 27 calories for 1 cup of raw asparagus with a scant 0.16 total fat grams. Asparagus can be purchased fresh, canned or frozen. Our Asparagus Stir Fry recipe uses fresh asparagus.

To prepare, slice fresh asparagus into small strips. Use a small bit of olive oil to coat the bottom of your pan to prevent sticking as well as to add flavor to the Asparagus Stir Fry. Next, add 1/2 cup of diced onion of any variety to the pan.

Also add 1 Tablespoon of soy sauce and about 1 cup of cubed raw (or cooked) chicken breast to the pan and cook until chicken is almost done. Add the raw asparagus and cook until tender and the juicesof the chicken run clear. Add 1/2 cup of sour cream.

Serve over any your favorite rice - wild, white, brown or even flavored rice.

Ingredients for Asparagus Stir Fry Recipe:

1 bundle of raw Asparagus

1/2 cup of diced Onion, any variety

1 Tablespoon of Soy Sauce

1/2 cup of Sour Cream

1 cup of raw or prepared Chicken
