Tom Squire’s Leg -  - low fat, low calorie recipe for dieters

There lies a lot to be loved about Tom Squire’s Leg.  Firm, juicy, tantalizing, warm, luscious meat!  Fully roasted to perfection in a nice hot oven!  Filling, yet very scanty on calories. Enjoy one whole leg or save half for the morrow to come.

Serve with Lady Jane’s Turnips & Greens, a smidgen of Middle Aged Yam (& only a smidge!).  A small slice of bread wilt go well with thy meal, as wilt a dollop of cranberry sauce.  However, harken unto the amount of cranberry sauce that thy use, for it ‘tis evil in calorie content for a can contains about 600 calories – half of thy daily calorie allotment.  Sparkling Water & fresh strawberries wilt top off this tasty feast.

Ye Old Ingredients for this low calorie, low fat diet recipe
1 Turkey Leg (Weighing in at about 1 pound)
½ Teaspoon of Salt
½ Teaspoon of Cracked Black Pepper PLUS ½ Teaspoon of Lemon Pepper
¼ Teaspoon of Dryed Sage + ¼ Teaspoon of Dryed Crushed Rosemary
Roll of Foil & Mixing Bowl
Oven heated to 350 degrees

Mix seasonings.  A plastic or paper bag works  well for mixing with no clean-up.  Rub freshly washed turkey leg with seasonings.  Wrap in foil.  Place in preheated oven for approximately 45 minutes, or till juices run clear.  Remove & rub down once more in cracked black pepper if desired.  Enjoy!
