There have been an arsenal of studies in regards to the times that individuals eat during the day and the weight loss connection. There is a relationship that just can't be denied. The later that you eat in the day, the harder it is to burn off those calories. See if changing the time of day for dinnertime will work in helping you ditch those unwanted pounds. Eat as early as possible in the evening. Try this for one short week. Be sure and weigh before you try the experiment - preferably in the morning. At the end of the week, again, weigh at the same time of day that you did at the beginning of your Diet Experiment. Did it work?
And if you would really like to see a big drop in your weight, make dinner the lightest meal of the day. Example: A bowl of soup, a nice salad with lean meat and light dressing, or a piece of roasted meat, a baked potato with no-calorie butter spray, and some green beans. Yes, it's hard cutting back during the evening hours, because we've innocently threaded eating into our relaxation time. We find it hard to enjoy humorous sitcoms without stuffing our mouths as full as our recliners have been stuffed. It's not any fun choking when we laugh, so we've remedied that by adding high calorie, high sugary beverages to our relaxation routine. Why, it's just not any fun to watch television without hot buttered popcorn, chips,dip and a 2-liter cola. And yes, it's terribly difficult watching television without snacking. Not easy at all! But it's better than a heart attack or stroke. Think a moment about this....
