Economical Recipe for Easy Mac & Cheese Supreme

 

This hearty meal can be on your family table in less than 20 minutes. Here is what you'll need:

 

- 1 box of mac & cheese

- 1/2 pound of hamburger meat

- chopped onion, chili powder, salt & pepper (optional)

- 1 can of drained whole corn

 

Cook hamburger and chopped onion in a skillet. Add prepared mac & cheese*, a bit of chili powder and the corn.

 

*You can either prepare the mac & cheese and hamburger meat separately OR you can cook the hamburger, then add the noodles to the cooked beef, then the cheese sauce packet after the noodles are done. If you choose to cook the mac & cheese separately, try filling a deep microwave-proof bowl with the noodles, then add water which covers the noodles about one inch. Set microwave for 20 minutes. Drain and add to hamburger.
